In the March session, we followed the steps discussed in this tutorial on recreating the look of "Stranger Things".
In the February session, we analyzed and attempted to recreate the below image from the film "The Neon Demon", directed by Nicholas Winding Refn, with cinematography by Natasha Braier.
In the January session we recreated this shot from the film "The Good German", directed by Steven Soderbergh with cinematography by Steven Soderbergh.
In December we recreated the lighting design in this shot from the film "A Serious Man", directed by Ethan and Joel Coen with cinematography by Roger Deakins.
In November we recreated the lighting design in this shot from the film "Stories We Tell", directed by Sarah Polley with cinematography by Iris Ng.
In October we recreated the lighting design in this shot from the film "Beberian Sound Studio", directed by Peter Strickland with cinematography by Nic Knowland.
In September we tried our hand at recreating this product shot
from the very useful Broncolor "Shoot This Photo" website. The resulting image was used as a promotional tool for our annual Brewhaha fundraiser. This was the first session of the Image Makers.
